The Aluprof family of surface-mounted (adaptation) roller shutters differs above all in the box. On the SK it is cut at 45° and assembled from sheet aluminium, while on the SKE — the same bevel, but the box is extruded: stiffer and more stable on wide openings. SKP — semi-oval: a soft shape that all but dissolves into the opening when fitted in a recess and sits perfectly with the facade. All three versions work both in a recess and on the wall.
The curtain is built up from profiles in three series. PA 37–55 — aluminium sheet filled with polyurethane foam and finished with a two-layer PU/PA coating that resists abrasion and weather — the working standard for windows. PE 41 and PE 55 — extruded aluminium of increased rigidity for wide and demanding openings. PT 37 and PT 52 — lightweight plastic with stable geometry for compact windows.
The box can house a built-in insect screen: in summer it keeps insects out with the window open, and in winter a lowered shutter adds a thermal barrier. The colour is chosen from more than 40 options: eight greys, whites and creams, woodgrain finishes in golden oak, walnut and mahogany, green, burgundy and black. Guide rails and the bottom bar are painted to match. Operation ranges from a cord and a manual gearbox to a motor with a radio remote and smart home scenarios.
