The heart of the system is the patented ratchet mechanism in the LDG 41/W bottom bar: miniature lock boxes are fitted into the bar, holes for them are drilled in the guide rails to a template, and the fixings are inserted from inside the room. Any attempt to lift the closed curtain from outside runs into the catch — the classic 'prise it up and lift' routine simply does not work.
Class RC2 was achieved with a specific, reproducible specification: an extruded aluminium curtain PE 41, reinforced guide rails PPW 66, an LDG 41/W bottom bar with W_LDG 41/W reinforcement and WB pressure blocks. This is exactly the set we install — and the certificate covers both surface-mounted and concealed installation.
In every other respect Safety Plus is an ordinary Aluprof external roller shutter: a darkened bedroom, a quieter street, a warmer house in winter, a motor with a remote or smart home control, and a colour palette to suit the facade. The difference shows only at the moment someone tries to open it who should not.
