Description

Vegas pleated blinds: a pleat that suits any window

A pleated blind is fabric gathered into a neat concertina. The stack of pleats slides compactly up or down and locks in any position, and because it fixes straight onto the casement it covers even awkward windows: roof lights, triangles, trapeziums and arches. The fabric hugs the glass and does not stop you opening the window for ventilation.

Vegas — an affordable, well-built system from a Polish manufacturer. Its main strength is its thoughtful brackets: the holders are designed for glazing beads of different sizes, and some versions are fitted without drilling the frame. In the updated version the cords run through metal eyelets, which noticeably improves durability and makes the blind easier to service. Every blind comes with a 4-year guarantee.

The range has two systems: PV1 — the standard pleated blind for windows and doors (15 or 18 mm profile; the data sheet gives two cutting options — up to 150 × 150 cm or up to 120 × 220 cm), and PV2 — the version for roof windows with side guides, which keep the fabric taut at any angle of slope. Wide blinds can have side guidance on a steel cable and a central catch.

Dozens of profile and hardware colours — from white, cream and anthracite to wood effects (oak, walnut, mahogany, winchester) and RAL shades. The whole process in one place: measuring → production → installation.

Systems

PV1 or PV2 — which system suits your window?

Both Vegas systems are made to the same data sheet but solve different jobs: PV1 for vertical and sloping windows and doors, PV2 for roof windows with side guides.

Standard

Vegas PV1

The classic casement-mounted pleated blind: windows, balcony doors and sloping openings. A 15 or 18 mm profile and a handle rail so no cords are on show.

  • Up to 150 × 150 cm — or up to 120 × 220 cm (two cutting options)
  • From 120 cm wide — the 18 mm profile
  • From 130 cm — a central catch
  • Side guidance on a steel cable (18 mm profile)
  • Fitted into the glazing bead, surface-mounted or without drilling
Roof windows

Vegas PV2

The version for sloping and roof windows: the guides keep the fabric taut at any angle — the pleats hold their shape even upside down.

  • Minimum 20 × 20 cm
  • Up to 120 × 160 cm
  • From 80 cm wide — side guidance recommended
  • Guides: cream or anodised

Questions

Frequently asked questions about Vegas pleated blinds

Are they suitable for roof windows?

Yes: the PV2 system with side guides keeps the fabric taut at any angle of slope — up to 120 × 160 cm, and from 80 cm wide we recommend side guidance. The guides come in cream or anodised finishes.

What are the maximum dimensions?

The minimum is 20 × 20 cm. Per the data sheet, PV1 has two cutting options: up to 150 × 150 cm or up to 120 × 220 cm. From 120 cm wide the 18 mm profile is used, and from 130 cm a central catch is added.

Can they be fitted without drilling?

Yes: besides glazing-bead and surface mounting there are clamp-on fixings that need no drilling — they leave no marks on a PVC window. Our fitter will choose the option at the professional survey.

How does a pleated blind differ from a roller blind?

The fabric gathers into a concertina: the stack of pleats is only 5–9 cmdeep, the blind locks in any position and it sits close to the glass. That is why a pleated blind also covers awkward windows — triangles, trapeziums, arches and roof lights.

How much do they cost and what is the guarantee?

From 32 €/m², with a quote to your dimensions the same day. Guarantee 4 years: the cords run in metal eyelets. Professional surveying throughout Latvia and the Baltics, we also work across Europe. Production takes 6–15 working days.
